How does Byte work?

Step 1. Impressions

Simply visit their Smile Studio in Manly Vale for a FREE In chair 3D scan and consult with their clinical specialist. Alternatively order an impression kit online and create your impressions from the comfort of you own home.

Option 1: Smile Studio in Manly Vale

You can visit their Smile Studio in Manly Vale for a free In Chair scan. Their trained Byte technician will take a 3D image of your teeth using a scanning device and snap some photos of your smile which will take approximately 5-10 minutes. You will then have an opportunity to chat with our Byte Advisor who will walk you through how your treatment will work and next steps.

The scans are sent to the treatment planning team, reviewed by an Australian Dentist, and your 3D image of your new smile will be created and accessed through your Byte Account Centre. A Byte Advisor will schedule a convenient time for a call and talk you through your new smile and answer any questions you may have!

Option 2: Impression Kit at Home

If you can‘t make it for an in-person scan, you can get started with an Impression Kit shipped straight to your door. You take molds of your teeth and send them back so Byte can design and ship custom aligners to kick off your treatment. Order an impression kit.

Step 3.Track your progress.

You’ll be sent a series of clear aligners, labelled with each stage… you’ll have a personalised plan created, and wear each aligner for 1-2 weeks. There will be gradual movements over your treatment period until your smile is transformed!

How long does the Byte treatment take?

The Byte clear aligner treatment takes 4-6 months, depending on the amount of movement that needs to happen in the mouth. You can choose from two different types of aligners:

All-Day Aligners

The all-day aligners are designed to be worn for 22 hours a day. Pop them out for meals and drinking, but wear them at all other times. Since Byte’s all-day aligners are thin, they have a lower profile than some of their competition. These aligners are discreet not only in appearance; but also in the way they affect your speech.

At-Night Aligners

Byte at Night aligners are our most convenient system to straighten your teeth while you sleep. Wear them for 10 hours a day. Byte’s At-Night aligners are made from a thicker, more premium plastic than their all-day aligners. These durable nighttime only aligners can withstand more wear and overnight teeth grinding.

How does the treatment work?

Your Byte treatment takes place from the comfort of your own home, but that doesn’t mean you’re just left to your own devices. You’ll be assigned your very own Impression Kit Specialist, Byte Aligner Advisor and Customer Support Team who will support and guide you throughout the journey.

Why is Byte treatment much quicker than other options?

Traditional in-office options like Invisalign and braces can take 18-24 months to complete. On top of that, these treatments require in-person appointments every 4-8 weeks. Whilst these options treat more complex cases, Byte clear aligners only treats mild to moderate alignment issues which means quicker results. You also save time by eliminating ongoing trips to a dental clinic.

Byte has one of the shortest treatment lengths industry with some help from using Byte’s exclusive HyperByte for 5 minutes a day, your new smile can be seen in as little as 4 months for all-day treatment, and as soon as 5 months for Byte At-Night treatment.

How much does Byte cost?

To get started, it costs $47.50* (usually $95, limited time offer) to get an impression kit sent to you for your molds. You’ll complete the impressions at-home and ship it to Byte with a prepaid shipping label. If it turns out you’re not a candidate for treatment, Byte will refund you the cost.

Your aligner kit costs $2,749 for all-day treatment or $3,399 for Byte At-Night. This treatment system includes everything you need to straighten your teeth – including all the aligners in your treatment (clearly labelled in individual sachets with the stage), the HyperByte system (which is valued at $999), a bottle of whitening foam, and a set of post-treatment retainers.
