What is Molluscum? 👉🏻
Molluscum contagiosum is a common viral skin infection that causes small, raised bumps. These bumps are usually flesh-coloured or pink with a tiny dimple in the centre. While they might look concerning, they're generally harmless and painless, though they can be itchy. Molluscum spreads through skin-to-skin contact or shared towels and toys, making it common in childcare and schools. The bumps can last months to years, but usually clear up on their own.
