BARKER COLLEGE | Barker College caters for students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12. The school also offers boarding for Senior School students in Years 10 – 12.
All students are exposed to a range of diverse opportunities and experiences. Through this, they’re able to develop resilience and adaptability within a supportive environment.
Barker also operates three Indigenous primary school campuses: Yarramalong on the Central Coast, Wollombi in the Hunter region, and Dhupuma Barker in NE Arnhem Land. A priority for each of these schools is the development of strong foundational skills in literacy and numeracy for Indigenous students from Kindergarten to Year 6, with the aim of instilling confidence and a desire to learn. In 2024, Barker established Marri Mittigar, a co-educational special assistance school for children and young people with a refugee experience.
