Paradise found… at Panviman Resort, Koh Phangan, Thailand.
Our family of five (kids aged 10, 14 & 16 years old) had the most incredible time at this tropical paradise. Honestly, it’s the most magical place we’ve ever stayed!
🌴 About Panviman Resort
Perched on a secluded hillside on Koh Phangan’s northeast coast, Panviman Resort offers the perfect blend of luxury and natural beauty. The resort features stunning infinity pools with panoramic ocean views, a pristine private beach, and lush tropical gardens that make you feel a million miles from everyday life.
🌴 Our accommodation
We stayed in a private pool villa, which was absolute heaven. The villa was beautifully appointed with traditional Thai touches, and our own pool meant the kids could swim whenever they wanted. The views from our terrace over the Gulf of Thailand were simply breathtaking – especially at sunset.
🌴 Resort facilities
Beyond our villa, we spent time at the resort’s incredible tiered infinity pools (possibly the most Instagram-worthy pools we’ve ever seen!), lounged on the quiet beach below, and explored the resort’s various restaurants and spa facilities. The kids loved having different pool options, and we parents appreciated the peaceful beach area and attentive service.
🌴 Getting there from Sydney
✈️ Sydney to Koh Samui (9 hours direct flight)
🚤 Koh Samui to Koh Phangan (30 mins speedboat – the resort can organise pick-up from airport or your Samui hotel)
The boat transfer is an adventure in itself, and Panviman’s location means you arrive feeling like you’ve discovered a secret hideaway.
If you’re looking for a special family escape in Thailand, we can’t recommend Panviman highly enough.
