        Roseville College

        About Roseville College

Founded in 1908, Roseville College is a non-selective day school for girls in Prep to Year 12. Roseville leads in girls’ education through four qualities that form its foundation: community, participation, leadership, and Christian faith. These pillars are essential for equipping students with an understanding of the wider world and their place in it.

Roseville is known for overachieving for its size in everything from academic results to sport to music – small but big in impact. Roseville offers broad and rich learning opportunities in an environment of high expectation and consistently high results in which each student is known, valued and challenged in her learning.

Its optimal size allows Roseville to know and care for each girl, partnering with her to ensure her learning pathway is rigorous and personalised yet broad. There is a close and nurturing environment in which education is balanced with an integrated approach to wellbeing. At the heart of wellbeing is connection, a quality Roseville College is known for, and here each girl is part of a family-like community and can foster relationships to sustain her in her learning, wellbeing and life beyond the school gates.

Roseville College offers a truly well-rounded education with a breadth of academic and co-curricular opportunities. Students are encouraged to embrace challenge and to choose and do what they love. Equally important is Roseville’s rich and established culture of participation. Each student is welcomed to participate enthusiastically in the many opportunities on offer and, in the process, discover her passions and her path.

Outstanding results are seen across the curriculum. Over 50% of Roseville students take up STEM pathways for tertiary study, against the broader trend of these still male-dominated careers. In the highly acclaimed Cambridge International Courses offered in Years 9–10, Roseville recently celebrated a global ranking of ‘Top in World’ in World Literature (with two students in equal second place). In Creative and Performing Arts Roseville students consistently achieve outstanding HSC showcase nominations, with Music and Visual Arts showing some of the best results in NSW.

From Kindergarten’s ‘100% grateful program’, raising money to support students in their sister school in Tanzania, to their partnership with Rough Edges where senior students learn to communicate, serve and care, Roseville girls are positioned as capable of impact, leadership and compassion.
