3. Hornsby Aquatic & Leisure Centre
The outdoor 50m pool at Hornsby Aquatic & Leisure Centre
The Hornsby Aquatic and Leisure Centre (Hornsby Pool) is a state-of-the-art facility with a heated eight-lane, 50-metre outdoor pool for lap swimming and water polo and a heated, ten-metre by 25-metre indoor pool for learn-to-swim activities. There’s also a heated leisure pool that kids can walk into, with plenty of fun water features, including an enclosed water slide.

4. Willoughby Leisure Centre
Construction is now underway to upgrade the Willoughby Leisure Centre to create a modern, best-in-breed new aquatic and recreation facility.
During this upgrade, which will run until 2025, the centre’s:
– School holiday program and gym will continue to operate
– Indoor courts will predominantly remain open but may need to close for some period during construction and
– Pool hall and creche will remain closed

5. North Sydney Olympic Pool
North Sydney Olympic Pool closed in February 2021 for redevelopment. North Sydney Council anticipates that the North Sydney Olympic Pool (NSOP) construction will be completed in early 2025; however, it is still evaluating the full implications of the structural steel, as outlined below.

9. Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre

Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre is indoor and heated to a comfortable 26 degrees all year round. The Aquatic Centre’s water wonderland includes five spas, a sauna and steam room, a river rapid ride, spray jets, spurting volcanos, a water slide and a bubbling beach, surrounded by lush palm trees and colourful mosaics, plus a huge indoor water playground.
