Is Nanoplasty better than other hair straightening treatments?

Yes. Keratin and Permanent Japanese Straighteners can be dangerous due to the usage of harsh chemicals and damage to the hair due to the permanent breakdown of the hair structure. With nanoplasty, hair is immediately straightened and restored, giving long-lasting, stronger, healthier, straight hair.

How does Nanoplasty Hair Straightening Treatment work?

What is the difference between Nanoplasty and traditional Keratin Treatments?

The main distinction between Keratin and Nanoplasty is the chemical composition of each treatment. Whilst the Keratin treatments we offer at Luxe do not contain Formaldehyde or other harsh chemicals, the Nanoplasty is less toxic as it is formulated with organic acids and collagen. It is free of harsh chemicals, formaldehyde releasers, carboncysteine, and other pollutants.

Additionally, unlike traditional Keratin Treatments, Nanoplasty lasts in the hair for up to 8 months, as opposed to three to six months with older technologies. After having a Nanoplasty service, the treatment will grow out of the hair rather than fade out.

Nanoplasty eliminates 100% of any frizz you may have had prior to the service. You will be able to wash and wear your hair straight and shiny with no to minimal heat styling. In addition to straightening the hair, Nanoplasty also repairs the hair from the inside out. It is produced with Organic Acids, Açai, and Linseed Oil, all of which are vegan and natural.

How long does Nanoplasty last?

Nanoplasty lasts 6-8 months on the hair. Everyone’s hair is different, with some hair types more resistant than others

Will Nanoplasty straighten curly hair?

Most definitely – the treatment can be used on all hair textures, coloured and highlighted hair.

How soon can I colour my hair after having Nanoplasty?

Colour is safe to do the day after the treatment. As the treatment may strip artificial colour from your hair, we suggest in timing your treatment visit close to when you are next due for colour.

Is there any down time after experiencing Nanoplasty?

No – once the treatment is complete in salon, it is safe to wash your hair, tie it up or exercise as soon as you please. If you are swimming in salt or chlorinated, we suggest in waiting a few days before doing so after having the treatment.

How do I care for my Nanoplasty at home?

It is strongly recommended to use Sulphate-Free shampoo and conditioner for long-lasting results.

How long does the Nanoplasty treatment take?

You will typically be in the salon for 3-3.5 hours, depending on the length and thickness of your hair.
