Do you run a local business? Are you looking to give back to the community by supporting some incredible local organisations? Join us for Community Pitch 2023, a dynamic community networking event with a significant social impact. This exciting opportunity allows local business owners and individuals a unique opportunity to support 10 charitable organisations making a difference in our community.

What is Community Pitch?

Think ‘Shark Tank’ but with charitable Community Groups giving an engaging three-minute pitch to a room full of local business owners. It’s a fun, fast-paced, community networking event, providing an ideal opportunity for local business owners to support charitable groups doing amazing things in our community.

Any business, family or individual can become a Pitch Partner by pledging a minimum of $500. After the presentations, each Pitch Partner selects which community group(s) they wish to support using their pledged funds.

To kick things off the Turramurra and Lindfield Community Bank have pledged $30,000 to be given away on the night – and a number of other local businesses have already registered as Pitch Partners.

Don’t miss out on the chance to be part of a transformative event that drives positive change in our community.

Apply to be a Pitch Partner

As a Pitch Partner, you have the power to make a direct impact. At the end of the presentations, it’s in your hands to choose which community group(s) resonate with your values and vision. By directing your pledged funds to these deserving organisations, you become a catalyst for change and an invaluable partner in their success.

But the benefits don’t end there. Community Pitch provides an exceptional networking platform, connecting you with like-minded community members who share your passion for making a difference. Engage in meaningful discussions, explore potential collaborations, and unlock exciting future opportunities.

How does it work?

  • Pitch Partners pre-purchase ‘pitch funds’ through Turramurra and Lindfield Community Bank. The minimum spend is $500
  • Pitch Partners are requested to pay a $25 Community Pitch Event Fee for each person attending; this is a contribution towards the cost of catering on the night.
  • Each Pitch Partner will receive ‘pitch cheques’ valued at $50 each (to the value of their pre-purchased pitch funds.)
  • After hearing the pitches of each Community Group, Pitch Partners have time to visit the stand of each group to discuss their projects further. At this point, pitch cheques are given to the Community Groups you wish to support.
  • The Community Groups that receive support on the night will provide tax deductible receipts to Pitch Partners.

The Benefits

  • The Turramurra and Lindfield Community Bank will promote Pitch Partners through significant social media support, website, and emails to our extended network.
  • Photography from the evening will be provided for you to use in your own marketing.
  • Marketing collateral, including Pitch Partner logos will be provided for use on your website and social media platforms.
  • The opportunity to network with like-minded businesses and community members.
  • A promotional video from the night recognising Pitch Partners.
