If you’re keen to get out of Sydney for the day, then you must put Umina Beach on your list of things to do! It has absolutely everything you could possibly want for a great day out for the whole family – not just a beautiful beach, but also the most amazing playground and recreational facilities that we have ever seen! There is something for children of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers.
Next to the Kiosk, there’s a fantastic fully enclosed playground for the little kids with a pirate ship, cubby house, lots of sandpits and a set of swings. Outside this area, there are a few more swings, an old-school style roundabout, mini maze, flying fox, rock-climbing wall, and an area designed and suitable for children with disabilities. On top of this, there is a skate and basketball park, netball courts and BMX track. Plus, the whole area is surrounded by picnic areas and parklands.
So if you’re looking for something different to do these school holidays or at the weekend, head up the Central Coast for the day. You’ll have a ball!
