Joey Jig Music

Joey Jig Music and Movement classes are designed for babies and toddlers. Classes are run by age: Swing Swing babies (3 months – 1 year), Be-Bop (1 – 2 years) and Jump & Jive (2 – 4 years).

Their weekly music lessons include fun original themed songs composed by owner & teacher Alicia. The 30-minute classes engage and entertain both children and parents with wonderful sensory props and activities, plenty of singing, dancing and fun with percussion.

Joey Jig Music is a great introduction to the classroom. The little ones have fun with music, dance and early childhood education.

Archadenia Music Academy offers music lessons around The North Shore as well as the Hills area. They have experienced piano, drums, guitar, bass, vocal, trumpet, and violin teachers who have been teaching students for years. They offer studio lessons in Chatswood and Baulkham Hills, home tuitions as well as online lessons. Their academy offers varieties of different styles of music, such as classical, jazz, and contemporary (soul, funk, R&B, etc) as well as preparing HSC music and AMEB exams.

She focussed on music performance and went on to get a Bachelor of Creative Arts, majoring in theatre. She continued her performing life, combining her music and theatre skills in both Europe and the US, eventually returning to Sydney with her family. She has been teaching Ladybug Music for over 10 years, and on weekends, she can be seen performing in musicals as well as playing keyboard and singing vocals in a local rock cover band!

The Sydney Children’s Choir is one of the world’s leading treble vocal ensembles, having forged a reputation for artistic innovation and spell-binding performance over 30 years. Recognised for their crystal-clear sound, their precision and artistry, they possess a courageous and compelling performance style. Founded as a single ensemble by Lyn Williams AM in 1989, it now includes approximately 400 young people, comprising performing choirs and training ensembles.

Since it’s beginning in 1989, The Sydney Children’s Choir has performed in a wide variety high-profile event including the Sydney Olympics Opening Ceremony, World Youth Day, Sydney Festival and with the YouTube Symphony Orchestra. For the past 2 years, our yearly Christmas concert “Voices of Angels” has been performed at the Sydney Opera House.

The choir has toured extensively, presenting their signature performances of contemporary Australian music to new audiences across the world. In 2019, the Sydney Children’s Choir hosted the Gondwana World Choral Festival, which brought the world’s finest children’s choirs to Sydney for a week of 21 performances at the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Conservatorium of Music, broadcast on ABC Classic. Including over the decades, performing at many high-profile events including the Sydney Olympics Opening Ceremony, World Youth Day, Sydney Festival and with the YouTube Symphony Orchestra.

The choir offers a standard of training unsurpassed in Australia and goes beyond the school curriculum, allowing young musicians to extend their knowledge and providing them with world-class performance opportunities.
