Easter Egg Hunts

Easter Trail at Sydney Living Museums

Jump, hop and spring into the Easter weekend with Sydney Living Museum’s Egg-cellent Easter Trail at Elizabeth Farm and Vaucluse House. Enjoy a range of fun activities inspired by traditional Easter games, meet some feathered farmyard friends and explore the garden and venture through the historic house. Bring a picnic rug, pack a lunch, and make a day of it relaxing on the lawn.

Golden Ridge Animal Farm Easter Egg Hunt, Dural

Golden Ridge Animal Farm is hosting a fun and Covid-safe family egg hunt in 2021!

This two hour experience includes all the normal farm activities – you can milk a cow, cuddle some little chicks, cute ducklings and fluffy rabbits, explore the open paddock to meet and feed chooks, deer, alpacas, goats, sheep ducks and much more! You’ll also decorate your little egg hunt bag and Easter mask and then head off for the Easter egg hunt! Fill your basket with plastic egg around the farm which you will get to swap for prizes of real chocolate easter eggs, lollies & toys.

    Glenworth Valley Great Easter Egg Hunt

    Head to Glenworth Valley on Easter Sunday morning for the region’s largest and most exciting Easter Egg hunt. With over 20,000 chocolate eggs to find, it’s sure to be a magical morning for all the family! There are three morning sessions, and thousands of eggs to be found.

    Keep the excitement going after the hunt and make a day of it at Glenworth Valley. Book a surprise horse ride for your family along beautiful nature trails or a lazy kayak down Popran creek. Or try quad-biking, laser skirmish and abseiling.

    Easter Events

    EasterFeast Night Market, Mosman

    Mosman’s EasterFeast Night Market is a celebration of the tastes and flavours of Easter. The market features artisan stalls, gourmet food and beverages, Easter delights and so much more. Wander through the Village Green which will come alive after dark with fairy lighting and ambient music. It’s the perfect place to unwind as you take in the atmosphere this boutique experience delivers.

    Easter Portraits, St Ives Village

    Have a family portrait taken this Easter with award winning photographer Naomi Reiter, in St Ives Shopping Village’s Easter Wonderland. These sessions are happening from Wednesday 31 March – Tuesday 6 April , and will be a fun and festive memory of Easter 2021.

    Easter Bunny’s Workshop, Centennial Parklands

    Hippi-Di-Hopp …the Easter Bunny is coming! Enjoy two hours of Easter craft and make some beautiful decorations for your house. You’ll will work with wreaths, eggs, and many more things… and of course there will be a basket making course.

      Egg-cellent Easter, Centennial Parklands

      Centennial Parklands is holding an egg-stra special Easter event in 2021! You’ll explore the wonders of the park guided by their education rangers, who have prepared a range of fun an exciting activities  for you. Find out what Australian animals lay eggs, test your skills in finding them, help us plant flowers and make an egg-stravagant Easter headband.

      Each ticket includes participation for one child and one carer, Easter activities around egg – laying animals, traditional Easter games, headband art making, planting activity and a photo opportunity (without the Easter bunny).

        Family-friendly Easter Festivals in Sydney

        Sydney Royal Easter Show

        After a challenging year, Sydney Royal Easter Show will bring you a safe event that once again celebrates our heritage – from our rural traditions to our modern-day lifestyles. The RAS is working closely with NSW Health to ensure the 2021 Sydney Royal Easter Show is compliant with all COVID-Safe requirements as directed.

        This year, the Sydney Royal Easter Show is still bringing you all the animals, activities, carnival rides, and memory making experience you’ve come to know and love, with the Show operating a little bit differently in 2021. To manage crowd numbers you will have to purchase tickets to a specific show day. This allows event organisers to understand in advance how many people will be on site, and will help keep the Show COVID-Safe.

        • When: Thursday 1 – Monday 12 April 2021
        • Where: Sydney Showgrounds, Olympic Park
        • Entry cost: $99.50 Family | $43.50 Adult | $27.50 Child entry. Rides & showbags additional. Daily tickets are strictly limited – you will need to book your ticket for the day you will be coming to the Show.

          Sydney Family Show

          Sydney’s best value Family Show will return to the Entertainment Quarter in Moore Park from April 1st to 18th 2021, following a COVID-19-imposed hiatus in 2020. Whether it’s a bunny hopping competition, throwing a line in, cuddling a lizard, carnival rides or showbags, this year’s show is packed with entertainment for the whole family.

          Entry to the Show includes a massive range of free activities including access to the Reptile Show, the bunny hopping competition on Good Friday, a daily stage show, plus two hours of free parking.

          Thrill-seekers will flock to adrenaline-fuelled carnival rides such as the Super Sizzler and YoYo while the more sedate Classic Carousel and dodgem cars will also bring delight. Two hour unlimited ride sessions are excellent value at only $30 per person, with an option to also purchase individual ride tickets.

          West Ryde Easter Celebrations

          There will two events as part of the 2021 West Ryde Easter Celebrations. Join the Kids Easter Concert from 10am-11.30am on Saturday 27 March, as Alice, the crazy Mad Hatter and the Easter Bunny as they take us on a magical adventure through song and dance. The West Ryde Easter Singing competition will then take place from 2pm-4pm, with plenty of prizes to be won. Register for 14 years and under, or 15 years and over.
