‘Splash Zone’ at Raging Waters is ideal for toddlers
Raging Waters is Sydney’s biggest water park, offering over 40 slides and attractions, including a whole zone dedicated to little water adventurers and adrenalin-pumping action on some of the tallest and fastest water rides in the world. If you are looking for a fun-filled day out on the South Coast of NSW, this is where the action is. You will get in touch with your inner thrill seeker through The Perfect Storm, The Taipan, Funnel Web, and Rapid River. If you need a little time out, head over to the Kids Rides aimed at the younger years, which are full of fun.
It’s perfect for holidaying on the South Coast or a big day trip from Sydney (allow 1.5 – 2 hours’ drive from the North Shore, each way).

Jungle Float is the only floating waterpark in Australia, and it’s at Balmoral Beach and Clontarf during the summer school holidays! With three multi-level jumping platforms, a rope swing, a high and low trampoline, a waterslide and a diving board, it’s lots of fun for kids and adults! You can rent the whole place out for birthday parties and enjoy relaxing on the beach while the kids play. You can also book a group into one of their one-hour sessions and share the boat with other groups.

Central Coast Aqua Park, Gosford
Central Coast Aquapark is an inflatable obstacle course on water. Great for families, kids or kids at heart. Explore endless routes of obstacles, including swings, slides, monkey bars, climbing pyramids and much more. Fully supervised by trained lifeguards in Brisbane Water, Gosford.

Forget boring old pools with water slides, and check out this fun! If you’re looking for something slightly different, these water inflatables are an excellent option for older kids. It consists of inflatable slides, runways, jumping pillows and structures. It’s for ages six and up, but a separate wet play area for the littlies is free.

Kids can splash and have fun at this indoor water playground. While it doesn’t have much to offer thrill seekers, younger kids will love climbing, sliding and getting wet! There are three child-friendly waterslides and a giant bucket that fills with water and splashes into the pool below.

Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre
Here is a waterslide that you can use all year round, no matter the weather outside. The 56m waterslide at Ryde Water Park twists its way outside the building, landing in the pool at the bottom. Kids can also enjoy the 40m wave pool, children’s wading pool, bubble whirlpools and the Rapid River.

Hornsby Aquatic Centre is another excellent spot for the younger kids to have some fun and splash around. There are lots of fun water features for kids in the leisure pool, along with a 2-metre-high enclosed waterslide for them to zoom down. The water play area graduates in, so it is perfect for all ages to jump in and enjoy.

Outdoor splashpad for kids at Waves!
Waves Fitness & Aquatic Centre opened in September 2022, and it’s fabulous! The outdoor area has everything: multiple water slides for kids of all ages, plenty of fountains, water tunnels, and, most importantly, plenty of shade. It’s the perfect spot to cool off in the warmer months while the kids enjoy play. With a cafe on-site, you can make a day of it and keep the whole family busy.
