Other ways to help local businesses
If you are unable to buy your favourite businesses (whether they have had to close doors, or you simply can’t get there), there are still other ways you can support them:
Buy a gift voucher: purchase a gift voucher you can redeem at a later date. This will keep their business running in the meantime.
Make a note: list down some places you want to head to with friends of family when this is all over.
Pick up takeaway: instead of using Uber Eats, which takes a 30% cut. This ensures the money gets where it should. If this isn’t possible right now, remember this when business reopen.
