A brand-new, multi-purpose indoor sports centre has opened in St Ives and it’s designed for the whole community. Built in partnership with Ku-ring-gai Council and the NSW Government, it offers modern courts, flexible spaces and easy access. From after-school sport to weekend competitions, this is a major win for local families and clubs.

St Ives Indoor Sports Centre: A purpose-built facility for the community

A brand new community facility, St Ives Indoor Sports Centre, has officially opened at St Ives High School.

The new sports centre is the result of a carefully planned, two-stage build. Outside of school hours, the centre is operated by Belgravia Leisure on behalf of the Council, ensuring professional management and broad community access.

During school hours, the facility supports students at St Ives High School; afternoons, evenings, weekends, and school holidays open the doors to local clubs, teams, and hirers.

Council hours are:

  • Between 4pm and 10pm on school days (Monday to Friday during school term)
  • Between 8am to 10pm on any Monday to Saturday which is not a school day
  • Between 8am to 6pm on any Sunday and public holiday which is not a school day.

All hirers of the facility during Council hours must vacate the facility within 30 minutes of the end of Council hours.

School hours are:

Between 8am and 4pm on any day the school is open for student attendance, generally Monday through to Friday.
