Currambena is a democratic school on Cammeraygal land on the North Shore of Sydney that offers truly child-centred education for both pre- and primary school children. My child has been a student at Currambena since pre-school and is now in ‘Jess’s class’ – the equivalent of year 2 in the school’s stage-based learning approach. We chose this school after doing a ton of research about what kind of education environment fosters curiosity, confidence and courage. Currambena’s play-based learning model and attention to every child as an individual is aligned with that research. My child is happy and thriving, loves learning, , and is becoming an articulate and capable young person.
