Sydney’s North Shore has lots of outstanding public schools. These schools are predominantly funded by the Government, with small additional fees payable by families. We list all the public primary and high schools on Sydney’s North Shore.
Finding the right school is a key milestone for any family, and the North Shore is home to some of Sydney’s most well-regarded public primary and high schools.
While catchment zones determine enrolment, each school has its strengths, programs, and community culture. This guide provides an overview of the local schools. Whether you’re new to the area or preparing for the next stage of schooling, we aim to equip you with the information needed for a smooth and confident transition.
To find out which local public school you’re zoned for (based on your residential address), use the School Finder tool on the NSW Government website.
