You probably don’t associate servos with barista-made coffee, freshly squeezed juice or baked bread… but Jack & Co isn’t your average servo! They’re a convenience store who sell petrol, and we promise once you try them, you’ll never get your fuel anywhere else! What’s more, they’re focussed on giving back to the community with their 20 cent Tuesday initiative, and we’ve lucky enough to have two on the North Shore!
The founders of Jack & Co were disappointed of going into convenience stores and getting poor food and even worse service. So they came up with the concept of a convenience store that delivers fresh food that was quick and easy, freshly ground coffee expertly made by baristas (not servo coffee), whilst delivering exceptional customer service. And we’re delighted to report that they do just that!
Jack & Co is also really focussed on giving back to the local community with their 20 Cent Tuesday. Every three months, they support three worthy causes – local charities, schools, community groups, sporting groups or other fundraising initiatives. Every time someone buys a coffee on a Tuesday, the give the customer a 20 cent token and they can choose which charity they would like to support. At the end of the period, they tally up the tokens and the donation is given to the charity.
Since launching this initiative, they have donated a whopping $25,000 to local fundraisers.
Jack & Co. is currently featuring three amazing charities…. one of which is Cancer Council NSW, in support of NSM Founder Rachel Chappell’s Stars of the North! The other two are incredibly important too – St Aidan’s Uganda Mission and Delvena Women & Children’s Refuge. We don’t mind which charity you choose to support, as they are all so worthy of donations.
All we ask is that you stop by a Jack & Co one Tuesday before the end of August, buy a coffee and support your charity of choice! The more people who swing by to try their DELICIOUS coffee, the more funds they will raise overall. So go on, refuel your car and grab a coffee. You’ll be pleasantly surprised!
