St Ives Skate Park

St Ives Skate Park
If you have a skateboard handy, then just head over to St Ives Skate Park. It’s the perfect spot to brush up on those skills, while also gaining a little confidence on your wheels. With input from local skateboarders, the new park has an open flow and large bowl, making it a challenge for experienced riders, but also retaining safe areas for beginners to practice their skateboarding skills.
Plus, there’s the new St Ives Village Green Park right next door, so younger kids can enjoy a play, while the big kids practice their roller-skating skills. Win, win. And it’s free!

Thornleigh Skate Park
You will find Thornleigh Skate Park at Brickpit Park next to the Thornleigh Basketball stadium, with free parking underneath. You’ll also find mini golf and lots of other fun activities while you’re there.
The skatepark features a unique large open bowl with a spine and a collection of street features, most of which are again on the larger side.

Berowra Skate Park
Berowra Skate Park is located at Berowra Oval, and is just a few minutes walk from Berowra Train Station. Opened in 2006, the street-orientated skateboard park caters to skaters, BMX riders, and scooter enthusiasts of all skill levels.
It boasts a mix of street and transition elements, including range of banks, ledges, rails, stairs, manny pads and a bowl, providing a versatile environment for tricks and stunts. The park’s design emphasises safety and accessibility, with smooth surfaces and ample space for both beginners and experienced riders.

Forestville War Memorial Playing Fields Skate Park
The Forestville War Memorial Playing Fields Skate Park, also known as Melwood Park, has larger banks, a single rail, and a distinctive curved quarter, providing plenty of opportunities for skaters to practise their skills. It’s located right next to the playing fields.

The standout feature of the innovative flow style skate park is a ‘Taco’ in the north west corner which provides extra elevation for riders. It also boasts ramped edges and a raised central section.
The skate park will be shared by BMX riders, scooter riders and skaters, with riders from beginner to advanced standards welcome to use the community facility.

Avalon Skate Park
The Avalon skate park has a skatebowl, ramps and rails suitable for skateboarders of all skill levels as well scooters and inline skates. It is located behind the Avalon Surf Live Saving Club.
Car parking is available and free for vehicles displaying a Council parking permit. Those without can buy a pay ‘n’ display ticket from the meter. Alternatively there is a nearby bus stop.

Keirle Skate Park, Manly
At this Manly Skate Park you will find a brick box in the middle with a few obstacles, including a bank, quarter, ledge and down rail, plus a mini ramp off to the side.

Mona Vale Skate Park
Mona Vale Skate Park features a vert ramp, skate pool, grind rails and as well as catering to skateboarder it can be used for BMX, scooters and roller skates.
You will find a beginner skate pool which includes a long skateable ledge to accommodate level change, shared entry skate pool, a bowl that includes hip and corner extension, central diamond pyramid and an entry plaza, central refuge and viewing area.
