Based in Terrey Hills, nestled between the Northern Beaches and the North Shore of Sydney, Kristy Jauncey Photography offers professional photography services specialising in newborn and family portraits.
I love capturing your family journey – from pregnancy and newborn, through to babies and toddlers and then family portraits throughout the years – showcasing the love and connection you have as a family.
Newborn sessions can be held in my studio at Terrey Hills in Sydney or at your home/location of choice. I have lots of beautiful props to help compliment your newborn session.
Sydney portrait sessions are usually held at the beach or a park – for examples of preferred locations please contact me at [email protected] – I have many favourite spots that provide a beautiful backdrop for your portrait sessions.

I can’t recommend Kris enough – she took photos of our 1 and 3 year olds, and made the day so easy and fun. The photos she coaxed out of my kids (one who hates photos being taken and the other crying and sucking her thumb the whole time!) are beautiful. Kris was wonderfully patient on the day, had great ideas and directed us for locations and poses, and the result was photos that really captured the personalities of the children. Really lovely family photos, can’t wait to get more.
Kris took the most beautiful newborn photos of our son. He was only a little over a week old so we were a little nervous beforehand. However, Kris has the most relaxed and calming nature and we were all made to feel completely relaxed and at ease, including bub. Every single photo was stunning and natural and we found it extremely difficult to choose. These also make the perfect gift for our families. Could not recommend Kris highly enough. Kris was phenomenal! She kindly came to our home in Bondi with bags full of gorgeous blankets, wraps, newborn outfit and pretty hairbands! She had so much patience with our toddler and the newborn, and she captured the most beautiful photos. I was actually having a bad hair day (11 days post birth, feeling fat and sleep deprived!) but she managed to make us all smile naturally and produced lovely images of our little family I am very proud of! Thank you so much!

Kris is a fantastic photographer. We arranged for her to take photo’s of our newborn baby daughter which at the time was 19 days old. Kris is great with children and is very patient. Highly recommend Kristy for newborn photo shoots! She is very patient and calming with both the newborn and parents. She is extremely professional from the beginning of your interaction to the end when clients receive their photos. I received the photos within a short turnaround time – within approximately 2 weeks. I was able to view the photo’s as we were proceeding with the photo shoot which allowed me to feel comfortable and relax. Kristy came and photographed my family last week and took Zahlias newborn shoot. I could not recommend her highly enough. Kristy recently did my corporate photography at Wahroonga park in the Autumn. Both head shots and group pics. To say that the photos were amazing would be an understatement. And it only took an hour out of the working day!
It just goes to show the versatility that Kris has, although her love is of newborns, her broad skill set lends her to many other areas also.

Kristy photographed my extended family of 11 people which included a 7 yr old, two stroppy 2 year olds and 1 yr old on a warm December morning. She was so patient and great with the kids so we ended up with a fabulous photo of the extended family and individual family and children portraits. And of course she\\\’s so reasonably priced that I can see myself asking Kristy every year to take photos of my family!
I had the pleasure of having Kristy capture my maternity photos. Kristy made me feel comfortable and beautiful in my home and with my husband at the same park we had our wedding photos.
