As the mother of a generally anxious and nervous child, I was a little apprehensive about how my daughter would go with such one on one therapy. However, Emily set all those concerns to rest! Her dedication and warm nature had my daughter form a very quick bond with her and has seen significant improvement in the skills we went to her for help with. Can’t recommend her enough! – Jen Taipari
Jai has already made so much progress in a few short weeks. Jai’s focus, concentration and confidence have all improved greatly since he has been attending OT sessions with Emily. Emily has been truly fantastic! She always makes her sessions fun for Jai, while targeting his specific needs as she expertly diagnosed through his assessment. She is always punctual, precise and happy. Her sessions are always well planned and well sequenced. Jai loves all Emily’s resources including her games, activities and puzzles etc, and Emily always makes her sessions interesting and inviting for Jai, while making sure he is also challenged and supported when trying new things. – Sandy De Freitas
Over the course of two years while our son was in Year 1 and Year 2 at school. Emily worked with him primarily on handwriting and developing his fine & gross motor skills. They developed an excellent rapport, finding common interests while always maintaining a respectful relationship. In this way, Emily was able to motivate him when teachers and other therapists were unable to. Her creativity, thoughtfulness and understanding of his personality enhanced the value of their sessions. Emily kept me updated on our son’s progress and always found the time to address any concerns we had. We would recommend Emily without hesitation to anyone looking for an excellent occupational therapist – Danielle Virgona
