DESCRIPTION
Dr Margie Harpham is a kind, calm and caring Obstetrician and Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist and founding Obstetrician at North Obstetrics. Born and raised on the North Shore of Sydney, Margie completed her Obstetric training in Sydney and Auckland. During this time she won the Medal for the highest mark in the exam across Australia and New Zealand.
Margie is a very positive person with outstanding communication skills. She is warm, genuine, and down-to-earth, with a keen sense of humour. Margie leads the preconception clinic at RNSH and has extensive experience helping families who have experienced preterm birth or perinatal loss.
Margie lives locally and, when not working, loves spending time with her young daughters or playing sports.

At North Obstetrics we intentionally care for only a limited number of women at a time, allowing us to really get to know the women we look after and ensure that we are always there to help when needed. We know the importance of practising safe, evidence-based, quality obstetric care.
At North Obstetrics, we are mothers ourselves and have had first-hand experience with the highs and lows of pregnancy, as well as over a decade of experience managing other women’s pregnancies. We really understand the importance of having an obstetrician who you can trust and connect with during this time.
