NSW International Ballet Academy

Welcoming students and families from the North Shore of Sydney for 26 years, the NSW International Ballet Academy is the pre-eminent elite dance training facility for classical and contemporary dance catering for children from 3 to 18 years of age. With a focus on individual instruction in small classes and following the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus, we encourage students to strive for their personal best in a welcoming and nurturing environment.

We look forward to having you join us at our state of the art facilities in Pymble. These include six large studios, all with fully sprung floors and performance quality tarkett, a dedicated school work room, separate student hang out room and change room – all in a secure area that allows you to drop and collect your child at a time that suits you. Our inhouse physiotherapist is on hand for pre-pointe assessments and ongoing management as required.  We also boast a dedicated inhouse café which is available to all members of our community. These facilities, along with our world class faculty of senior teachers, make our Academy the dance school of choice for elite training in the Upper North Shore.

We offer after school classes, transition programs and full time training options.  We are also delighted to have the NSW Youth Ballet Company as part of our offering, allowing students from any school to join a professional level production each January as a summer intensive program.  Auditions for the NSW Youth Ballet Company are held in August each year and everyone is welcome to apply.  Entry to the company is strictly via audition only.
