Event Description

The Kirribilli Art, Design and Fashion Market is held on the first & second Sunday of each month from 8.30am to 3pm.

The Kirribilli Art, Design & Fashion market has a vibrant atmosphere, fantastic stalls, great products and delicious food. Artists, craft practitioners and designers sell their original paintings, glass, ceramics, fashion and accessories, homewares, millinery and fresh flowers in an atmosphere of great live music and international food.

The Burton street tunnel exclusively features Artisan made products with the Green and Gravel areas featuring Fashion stalls and much much more.

Market Location:

The Kirribilli Markets are held on Alfred Street South, Milsons Point (Next to the Harbour Bridge). The Markets run from the Burton Street Tunnel into the bowling Green next to the Bradfield Park Community & Well-being Centre. With great harbour views and easy access to public transport, you are sure to love Kirribilli Markets!

Getting There:

The Kirribilli Market is in a great central location and can be accessed easily by Train, Bus or Ferry.

  • By Train: Get off at Milsons Point Train Station turn right when you come out of the ticket turnstiles, then left at the end of the station walkway and the Market are right there.
  • By Ferry: Get off at Milsons Point Wharf (next to Luna Park) and walk up the hill to the Market. 
  • By Bus: Catch a bus to Milsons Point and get off on Alfred Street South at the bus stop outside Milsons Point Train Station and the markets are right there. 
  • By Car:  If travelling to the Markets by car, limited street parking can be found in the streets surrounding the market. Alternatively parking is available in the Luna Park car park for an all day rate of $30

History of the Kirribilli Markets

The Kirribilli Markets were first held on January 21st 1976 in the backyard of the newly opened Kirribilli Neighbourhood Centre. The Market quickly grew in size and popularity spreading into the adjacent yard of the then Kirribilli Public School.When Kirribilli Public School was sold the Markets moved to the park along Alfred street South beside the Bridge and then for a short time to Bradfield Park under the Bridge. When North Sydney Council acquired the Milsons Point Bowling Club the Council kindly gave permission the Markets to conducted on the old bowling green and in the Burton street tunnel. This allowed the Markets to expand to its present 220 stalls. All monies raised by the Market go to fund the programs of the Kirribilli Centre.
