I was very happy with the covering of my grand-mother’s bedroom chair. Peter picked it up and delivered back within one week. It was an excellent service.

I received a timely drop in my mailbox from the Chair Man. I needed 4 stools re-covered and a chair fixed. Peter and Denise are extremely professional and made the process very easy. The whole process from quote to finished product was over in 10 days ! I love the finished product ! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
I was very pleased with Peter and Denise’s great service in upholstering the seat of an old wooden chair which had previously had a cane seat. They suggested fabrics they already had in stock which kept costs down, picked up the chair promptly, sent photos of samples and dropped off others to assist me in making a decision, then dropped the chair back within a few days. Peter’s workmanship is off a high standard. I have already recommended the Charirman to others, and do doubt will be calling on them again in the future myself.
Peter is a true professional. He covered and repaired 6 chairs and re stuffed our lounge cushions. He is prompt, friendly and efficient. We will certainly use him again and recommend him to all our friends.

Peter recently recovered a bedhead and piano stool for me. He was extremely professional and provided great advice. I was surprised how quickly the job was completed and the end result is fantastic. I would highly recommend his services.
I recently did something that I never ever do! A brochure informing me of an upholsterer was left in my letterbox. As I was in need of some work to be done, I telephoned Peter who immediately struck me as being most professional. I sent a photograph directly to him of stools that I wished to be re-covered, and with in half an hour, I had received a quote. Peter and Denise came and collected my stools three days later – and all work was completed with 10 days. This work was completed earlier, but because of my busy schedule, Peter and Denise had to wait for me to be home! I must say, I was most impressed with their service and the work that has been done if quite beautiful. My whole experience with both Denise and Peter was a pleasure and all was so professional. Would not hesitate to recommend The Chair Man.
Highly recommend. I was so impressed with service, communication, workmanship and reliability. My old featherstone chair which has been passed down the family was given a new lease on life. The photo they sent when the chair was finished didn’t do it justice. I was speechless when it arrived home, its absolutely stunning in real life. Can not recommend them enough very happy customer and would use them again.

Peter did an excellent job repairing 4 chairs for us. They were collected and returned very quickly, and it was a pleasure to deal with Peter and Denise.
The service from Peter is amazing – quick turn around with quotes and once we commissioned the work the help and assistance with choosing fabrics was amazing. The pieces were collected quickly and the work was completed much faster than we even anticipated.
But the most amazing thing was the quality of the upholstery – just beautiful craftsmanship.

I don\’t think there is anything that Peter cannot do. He has upholstered antique chairs for me, repaired a much loved but broken table, polished my tired timber chair frames, made an outdoor furniture cover, and Denise helped me with all the fabric selections. If you haven\’t checked out the before and afters on his facebook page, then you should! And he is also always on time which was a pleasant change!

We have now used Peter a few times. He does amazing work and is just a great bloke. He is so much cheaper than anyone else we have used and is so quick! His wife Denise is also lovely and helped us with colour choices and arranged for our matching curtains to be made. Highly recommend.
