DESCRIPTION
Masada Cottage, located in St Ives, is a warm and nurturing environment with an Early Learning Centre for children aged 2 to 5 years. We have been caring for children on the North Shore for more than 38 years.
Our Preschool program is a combination of play-based learning, complemented by intentional and responsive teaching which we believe best develops communication skills and confidence in this age group. We offer long daycare hours, fresh meals made daily and above regulation required teacher to child ratios. We are very proud of our EXCEEDING rate by ACECQA.
Our preschoolers also benefit from specialist programs available to us from our Junior school, such as music, sport and Hebrew which creates a seamless transition to Kindergarten. Our Jewish Life Program ensures children start from a young age to understand and appreciate their Jewish heritage.
- Ages: 2 – 6 years
- Open Hours: 7.30am – 6pm
- Extracurricular activities offered: Our ELC students benefit from specialist lessons in music, sport and Hebrew conducted by teachers from our Junior School. This provides a seamless transition into Kindergarten, in our Junior school.
- Meals: We are a vegetarian and nut free Centre that provides three nutritious meals a day.
