Feeling sluggish? Our reviewer Laura Loveridge explored a new way to make good health part of her daily routine with Vitable. They offer an online assessment to help figure out what vitamins your body is craving and then daily pocket-sized packs are delivered direct to your door for a hit of good health.
As a busy mum of 3, I embarked on the Vitable journey hoping to improve my energy levels and boost my immunity. I’m sure I am not the only mum who is always looking for ways to help fend off all those lovely germs young kids like to bring home!
Get started with The Vitable Quiz:
To make it easy for busy mums, Vitable use an online quiz to help figure out a good vitamin match from their range. It’s an easy four-part form, covering:
1. Basics
The first section of the quiz starts by asking basic information like your age, gender, current interests and whether you are taking, or have taken, any vitamins
2. Goals
The quiz then moves on to your goals, allowing you to choose which areas you want to focus on. There are 11 areas to choose from in total, and I chose Boost Immunity and Energy. You can choose as many as you like, which really makes this personalised. In my case I was asked how I would rate my sleep and what are my energy levels like (that’s an easy one to answer!)?
The others are digestion, stress, mood & brain, sleep, heart, skin, hair, bones & joins.
3. Current diet
Current diet covers questions about allergies and nutrition, eg how often I eat red meat or fish and how many servings of vegetables a day am I getting.
4. Your lifestyle
This section of the quiz is designed to find out how active you are and how much you drink or smoke, again if any.
The quiz takes around 10 minutes and is done in one session.
Once you are finished you hit the “see my results” button, which shows your vitamin recommendations.
I was excited to see what the quiz generated (and at the thought of boosting my current health and meeting my lifestyle goals!). In fact, I felt more energised just taking the quiz, as it’s such a positive step – a bit like how you feel when you sign up to the gym and start to feel happier before you even attend a session, knowing good things are going to come!
Your personalised vitamin recommendations are backed by Scientific Research
All recommendations you get are backed by current scientific research, and they also confirm the vitamins they use are manufactured in Australia and only contain the essential ingredients required with “no nasties” on board.
Vitable can be contacted via their website, email and telephone and have a great customer service team who can answer any questions you may have. If you’re currently pregnant or on other medication you might also consider checking with a Health Care Professional about what vitamins you decide to take, if any.
Vitable delivers to your door
Vitable promises:
- No more guessing which vitamin works best for you.
- No more overwhelming aisles of fine print at the chemist.
- No more bottles consigned to oblivion in your bathroom cabinet….just daily pocket-sized packs with the vitamins you need
And they deliver – literally! Once I had received my results from the online assessment, it was really easy to order a month’s supply. You just pop in your details and pay and I received my order direct to my door just over a week later.
What does it cost?
Packs are personalised, but that doesn’t mean more expensive. Vitable are direct-to-consumer, which means no storefront costs or extra transportation costs. Then pass those savings on to you. Packs start at under $1/day, with monthly deliveries and you can adjust anytime.
You can also set up a monthly order so that you are never short of your vitamins, one less thing to worry about getting in the weekly shop. Every little helps! You can also retake the quiz at any time and adapt your vitamins should your lifestyle or goals change so you always know your current needs are met and all information is kept confidential according to their website.
The Goods!
My vitamins arrived in one box, containing two easy-to-dispense boxes of individual vitamin sachets, plus a product information booklet and details on where to get further support. The sachets are small and easy to take or carry around if you’re on the go. I love the personal details (my name is on each sachet!) and the ease of use, particularly for those who are already short of time. While plastic, the sachets are 100% recyclable (hurray!) In fact, 100% of their packaging is recyclable either in your at-home recycling bins or at the designated soft recycling bins found at your local Woolworths or Coles. The Vitable team are constantly working towards a more sustainable future and are already hard at work to make newer eco-friendly options so we really can reap the benefits of Vitable yet still be kind to our environment.
Overall
I found the Vitable concept to be really useful in helping me to identify which vitamins and minerals could improve my current lifestyle and the goals I set within that, as well as streamlining the whole vitamin taking process. The quiz is easy, informative and can be updated at any time to match your interchanging life goals.
In a world where we all need to do our bit to help the environment, it’s also great to know that Vitable are committed to a sustainable future whilst trying to make life a little easier for everyone where possible.
Life is so busy, having one more thing taken care of behind the scenes is something that I am sure many of us can relate to and desire to have.
