The North Shore Mums Facebook group is taking a festive break…

Christmas during summer in Sydney

Over the festive period, the North Shore Mums Facebook group will be closed for a few days to allow our moderating team to rest, recharge and take a well-earned break from social media.

We’ve done this every year since the group started, and it’s always proved to be a welcomed break for the moderators, who are effectively ‘on call’ 24 hours a day to respond to any situations.

It means we can properly switch off from social media for a few days, without worrying that misinformation is being spread or a drama is unfolding. We want the group to be a trusted and positive environment for mums, and this requires constant moderation.

We totally appreciate that North Shore Mums can be a huge source of support (and friendly banter!), but it’s only a few days… and we’ll be back refreshed and ready for another year of fun.

While the group is closed, you won’t be able to post any new questions – however you will be able to reply to threads already existing in the group. These posts will not be moderated, so please ensure posts follow our Group Guidelines.

Festive Trading Hours

The North Shore Mums Facebook Group will be closed from midday Christmas Eve, Friday 24 December until 7am Wednesday 29 December.

Thank you for an amazing 2021!

We’d love to take this opportunity to thank you for being a part of such a special community of amazing local mums, and providing support, advice, recommendations, education and friendship to other women in our Facebook group. From the bottom of our hearts, it makes us so happy when members tell us just how much North Shore Mums has improved their parenting journey, provided support in those first few months as a parent (and beyond!) and people who have made connections and friendships in the real world.

Wishing you and your families a relaxing and safe holiday!

Love Rachel, Michelle, Alison, Henny, Laura, Leesa, Bianka, Flick, Heidi & Shirley xx
