Lah-Lah’s Stripy Sock Club Live Show

Lah-Lah from ABC Kids are coming to the North Shore during the Winter School Holidays with Lah-Lah’s Stripy Sock Club Live Show!

Jack & The Beanstalk

The next Australian panto from Director and Producer, Bonnie Lythgoe is Jack and the Beanstalk! It’s a ‘Giant’ 3D musical spectacular that will play at the majestic State Theatre from Friday 12 to Sunday 21 July.

This magical, laughter filled production of ‘Jack’ will feature a fantastic 3D sequence that will transport audience members deep into the Giant’s castle. Australia has fallen in love with Bonnie’s magical pantos over the years that feature dazzling costumes, stunning sets, magic, some very special effects, hilarious comedy and thrilling musical numbers.

The all-star cast includes Lucy Durack (Wicked, Legally Blond and judge on Channel 9’s Australia’s Got Talent), Jimmy Rees (ask Jimmy Giggle from Giggle & Hoot and Jimmy Sizzle from Dancing With the Stars), Peter Rowsthorn (Brett from Kath & Kim), Richard Reid (2019 winner of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Outta Here), Lachie Dearing (Hi-5) and Anastasia Feneri.

Maya and the Sea Dragon

Marian Street Theatre presents Maya and the Sea Dragon at Knox Cultural Centre from Saturday 6 – 20 July.

There’s a secret lying at the bottom of Sydney Harbour… can you help them look for it? Dive down deep and join Maya and her seahorse friend Koru, as they embark on an underwater adventure and discover the wonders lying beneath the waves. What will happen when the ancient seadragon wakes? Will they find the Weedy Seadragon in time?

Written by award-winning author Wendy Blaxland, Maya and the Sea Dragon is a beautiful new work, brought to life by the performers at MSTYP. Packed with all the characters of the sea, puppetry, music, and the magic of theatre, this world premiere is part of Marian Street Theatre for Young People’s 50th birthday celebrations.

Robot Song, Glen Street Theatre

Juniper’s world is turned up-side-down when the arm of a giant robot appears on her doorstep and takes her on an unexpected journey to find the rest of its body. Surprised by the robot’s revelation that it has only ever wanted to sing, Juniper learns that sometimes flexibility and unexpected outcomes are exactly what you need. Ideal for 8-12 year olds!

Mimi’s Symphony

Mimi’s Symphony is a new orchestral story for Australian children. Join writer and narrator Justine Clarke and composer and conductor George Ellis as they take you on a journey with Mimi the magpie.

A little magpie is blown from her nest. She lands on the edge of a suburban oval. All she can remember is something she heard, something big and beautiful. She’ll encounter different animal gangs, learn how to survive in the suburbs and ultimately bring everyone in the park together. Through this engaging and lively story, kids will meet the sections of the orchestra as they come together in a joyous symphony!

Recommended for ages up to 8 years old.

Hornsby Gang Show

On the back of our sell out shows last year, Hornsby Gang Show is taking comedy, drama, dance and songs to the next level! Every year the show gets bigger and better.

With a cast of over 120 local Scouts and Guides TUNE IN TO HGS 201.9 includes original comedy and choreography plus musical big band and Broadway numbers brought to you by the Hornsby Gang Show Orchestra. Peppa Pig Playdate, ICC Darling Harbour

Peppa Pig is coming to Sydney from 13-21 July, in this super-sized, interactive experience called Peppa Pig Playdate. Fans can visit Peppa’s house, jump on bouncy puddles, or sit on a picnic rug and watch a live show starring the Pig and George. Visitors can also sing, dance and clap along to the Bing Bong Song and select from a host of merchandise available for purchase.

Peppa Pig Playdate brings to life the show’s characters, locations and adventures that Australian families love and adore. Fans will be able to explore Peppa Pig’s house, play on the pond, jump on bouncy muddy puddles and even hang out with the cheeky little piggy herself!

It wouldn’t be Peppa’s world without some of her friends and family joining in the fun. Brother George will join her in a live musical show where everyone can sing, dance and clap along to the Bing Bong Song, while Danny Dog will be inviting everyone to play instruments with him in the music room.

Along with enjoying other interactive entertainment, visitors can take photos with Peppa and her favourite toy Teddy and swing by Mr Fox’s shop to grab a Peppa Pig memento to take home.

Peppa Pig Playdate will immerse Australian families in the world of Peppa Pig in an unforgettable experience that will leave fans smiling from ear to ear.
