Sydney Roosters halfback Cooper Cronk and Fox Sports presenter Tara Rushton have launched North Shore Private Hospital’s new luxury birthing suites.
It was the first time the powerhouse couple, who are each highly respected professionals in their own right, join forces for a specific cause, which includes a charity element to support parents’ emotional wellbeing.
Following the birth of their son Lennox at North Shore Private Hospital in 2018, the couple said they valued the personalised care and respect for privacy they received from maternity staff during their stay.
Seven birthing suites now have luxurious and spacious new bathrooms; the makeover also includes a comfortable and serene patient lounge and reception area.
In addition, there are 13 luxury parenting suites which encourage partners to stay and allow the whole family to celebrate the birth of their child together.
The new refurbishment is supported by the 13 cot Level II Special Care Nursery and 40 private postnatal rooms with ensuites.
North Shore Private Hospital now also provides access to free psychological counselling sessions to expectant and new parents who experience perinatal depression and anxiety, through the not-for-profit Gidget House is now located on- site, providing support.
