There’s nothing better than getting the kids out of the house on a cold or rainy day, to run off their energy at an indoor playcentre. That’s why it’s a huge blow to parents across the North Shore to learn that Kids World at Macquarie Centre is closing its doors on Sunday 29 May.
After 10 years as a favourite place for kids to climb, run, spin, jump and celebrate parties indoors, Kids World Macquarie Centre (formerly Chipmunks) is closing its doors after making the decision not to renew their lease.
We wish to thank all the North Shore Mums Parents, Children and Families who have supported Kids World Playland throughout our 10 years at Macquarie Centre. We have loved hosting numerous birthdays parties, sporting events, school trips and all the casual visitors during the weekdays and weekends. Although we are sad that our lease has not been renewed we are looking forward to re-opening with a new venue for our next generation of families to visit.
We cannot wait to invite everyone to our new centre, and we will post details once we have finalised the location and opening date on our website and also to all our members in our database.
A BIG THANKS from all the Kids World Playland team.
When is Kids World Macquarie Centre closing?
Their last trade day will be Sunday 29 May, after which they will be de-fitting their site.
Head in for one last hurrah before they close, and be sure to make use of your NSW Parents Vouchers and Dine & Discover Vouchers!
Finding a new premise
The good news is, this hopefully isn’t the end. They are currently in negotiation for alternative premises and hope to be back better than ever. You will have to stay tuned for more details to come, as they remain tight-lipped about where this new venue will be.
Fingers crossed they stay local to the North Shore!
