COVID-19 Action Plan: With the lifting of restrictions they have resumed their face-to-face classes in their studios in Crows Nest. They will be maintaining a vigilant commitment to keeping their premises clean and sanitized on a daily basis. Hand sanitisers will be available on site for children to apply before entering the studio and all children will be required to wash their hands before each class.

Gymbaroo is now enrolling for in-centre classes for Term 3, with classes starting Monday 20 July. Gymbaroo prides themselves on providing fun, stimulating hands on lessons involving sensory play, vestibular and complete stimulation of the body to encourage bubs and kids to become the best people they can. The classes are 45 minute classes, once a week involving both mum, dad or carer and bubs or children. Classes range from babies of 8 weeks through to School Readiness for 3 – 5 year olds. Children from 12 months and up learn about different themes each week which benefit memory and coordination abilities. Gymbaroo works with local allied and health professionals to maximise ability.

Queenwood Tennis Centre
North Shore Mums Offer: 1 free adult clinic session when you book a Term 3 Junior Group Program for your child. Must be used in Term 3 and at a Morning Clinic.
With 10 synthetic grass and two cushion hard courts, The Queenwood Tennis Centre is uniquely placed in the leafy surrounds of Oxford Falls. Their courts are available for hire 7 days and their weekly programs offer a complete range of tennis activities for all levels. Beginner to Elite, Juniors to Adults. The Queenwood Coaching Team aims to provide engaging, high energy sessions with a focus on maximum participation and improvement. Available for private, semi-private and group lessons – their coaches are all motivated players themselves with Australian and International qualifications and experience. They are an Active Kids Provider and are a Tennis NSW Affiliated Club.

Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden (St Ives)
Looking for something a little different after school? Junior Rangers is Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden’s active, hands-on after school program where kids learn all about the Wildflower Garden’s plants and animals, and develop essential bush skills. The program runs weekly on Thursdays 4pm – 5.30pm. Their 10-week program is $130 per child or $16 per week casually (subject to availability).
The Wildflower Garden also offers Nature Play Programs for Toddlers, Pre-schoolers and Home Schoolers. These will commence in Term 3 pending an increase in outdoor gathering allowance. See their website for announcements. They accept Active Kids Vouchers.
COVID-19 Action Plan: Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden has implemented COVID-19 Special Operating Procedures for the safety of staff, participants and visitors to the Wildflower Garden. These procedures are based around social distancing, hygiene, venue cleaning and record-keeping. Please assist by observing instructions provided by Council staff or signage. A credit will be issued in the case of non-attendance due to illness and/or quarantining requirements, as per their cancellation policy.

These term art classes are specifically for kids, focusing on developing drawing and painting skills in an engaging and creative environment. Each class is led by a professional art teacher, with a Working With Children Check, and over 10 years’ experience teaching art to kids.
Classes are carefully planned to give the right balance of exercises to develop foundation artistic and cognitive skills with fun activities to keep your child engaged. They use different mediums like (water-based) paints, charcoals and pastels and watercolours. Creative Kids vouchers accepted.
