It’s spooky and it’s scary, and it’s a whole lot of fun! Yes, it’s Halloween 2020 and that means it’s time to get out and about at some spook-tacular events on the North Shore, where you can enjoy frights and delights plus some fun tricks and delicious treats.


Halloween certainly looks a little different this year, but never fear, it’s still all systems go! COVID-19 friendly Halloween events are cropping up all over the North Shore, so if you are ready to get your scare on, use the Quicklinks to take a peek below:

Boo at the Zoo, Taronga Zoo

This Halloween, Taronga Zoo is hosting a brand-new spooktacular event, called Boo at the Zoo! Think after-hours access, spooky entertainment, giant spider lanterns alongside three Halloween inspired presentations plus the chance to witness an array of animals enjoying their very own spooky Halloween themed enrichment. 

Don your costume and get ready for the “wildest” Halloween event in town.

Kids World Playland SPOOKTACULAR Halloween Disco

Kids World Playland’s Halloween disco will have dancing, games and prizes including best dressed competition. So dust off that broomstick and dress up as your favourite witch, power ranger or transformer and join a fun filled night.

Spooksville, Luna Park

Spooksville at Luna Park will be a hub of frightfully fun activities the whole family can enjoy. Experience Showtime Entertainment, spooky activities and more fun for the whole family. The entry ticket to Luna Park (and therefore Spooksville), includes a Spooksville Pantomime, unlimited rides and Trick or Treat houses.

          Pumpkin Decorating Workshop, Darling Quarter

          Come along and make your own emoji pumpkin, spider pumpkin or other spooky creation to take home in this 1 hour session on Saturday 31 October.

          Go trick or treating and grab a bite to eat at one of Darling Quarter’s restaurants with special Halloween menu items on offer, including Spooktacular cupcakes and drinks, or receive a complimentary entrée with any two mains purchased at Nok Nok Thai Eating House when you’re dressed in Halloween costume.

          Each session can host up to 20 participants. Walk-in registrations available, however, bookings are encouraged to avoid disappointment.
