1. Woolwich Pier Hotel
Visit on a Saturday and have your kids looked after by the ‘kid’s coordinator’ with face painting and more activities while you enjoy a great meal and a grown-up conversation. Kids also get a free ice-cream spider with meals. There are also plenty of other elegant areas (like The Good Room) for grown-up fun.
Jeanette: Can book tables and they have a nice “fake grassy” outdoor area plus TV with movies for the kids and if you go on the weekend, they usually have some sort of entertainer for free. Yummy food too!

2. Hunters Hill Hotel

3. The Diddy, Longueville Sporting Club
Adults can try out barefoot bowling or even yoga and gym workouts with personal trainers, massage and bootcamps available on site. Kids can enjoy meals a cut above, with tempura fish and chips and beef snags available.

4. Belrose Hotel
The Belrose Hotel boasts not one but TWO playrooms for kids, the largest indoor soft-play playground in Australia. The play area is divided into a toddler room for under 4’s and a kids room for 4 – 10 years old, so both the little kids and big kids can play in peace.

5. Norths Cammeray
It doesn’t get much more family-friendly than Norths. The hotel boasts a Kids Room equipped with heaps of activities plus the latest video games and movies to keep the distracted while you relax. 6. Terrey Hills Tavern
Fresh from a refurbishment, in 2015 Terrey Hills Tavern upgraded the kid’s play area to include an indoor climbing frame, cars, soft play and TV screens – all located in a safe and quiet space behind a large glass wall, which means the adults can sit in peace and hear each other talk but still keep an eye on the kids. On Sundays there’s kids entertainment with balloon creations, airbrushed tattoos and face painting plus a petting zoo.

8. Hotel Pennant Hills
Hotel Pennant Hills features an fabulous indoor soft playground, which is split in two with a toddler area (ages 2-4) and kids room (5-10yrs old). Kids can also choose from a kid-friendly menu and there’s a gelato bar for kids and mums.

9. Berowra Village Tavern

Close to Macquarie Shopping Centre, the family-friendly Ranch Hotel features a large outdoor shaded playground, arcade room and lots more attractions!
