The Treehouse Hotel in North Sydney are hosting the North Shore’s first inaugural Guinness, Oyster and Whisky Festival on Saturday 23 September. It’ll be a great day celebrating Irish culture full of fun and festivities for the whole family.
The first part of the day (12pm – 4pm) will offer a family friendly vibe with Irish hurling, Irish dancers, live Irish music all day, face painting from 1pm – 3pm, Guinness, whisky and oyster pairings, a whole roast pig, an oyster shucking competition, a Guinness pouring competition and a Howard Park sparkling wine and oyster bar. The day festival is free to attend with tokens purchased on the day to redeem for food and drink.
The evening celebration starts from 6pm and entails a spectacular Irish feast to raise money for the Irish Support Agency. Tickets to the dinner are $130pp and include a four course Irish inspired menu, free flowing beer, wine, Guinness and Waterford whisky and beautiful live music from special guests Rebecca Harkin and Marcus Holden premiering their new show, Celtric Gra.
