  • Enjoy a fun and free day out for all the family at Bradfield Bark – the biggest pets’ day out on the north shore!

Bradfield Bark (now with a Meow Market for the first time!) kicks off at 9am in Bradfield Park, Milsons Point, with a busy program of kids activities, talks, stalls and dog shows throughout the day until 3pm.

There’s plenty to keep the children entertained with two jumping castles, face painting, an interactive mural, caricatures, and a Reverse Garbage workshop where they can make leads and toys for their pet or teddy. For Paw Patrol fans, Skye will be making a guest appearance along with Puss in Boots.

Dog demonstrations include obedience, agility, Frisbee, Flyball and dancing dogs. There will also be prizes on the day for the Most Fabulous Senior Dog, Best Dressed Dog, Best Dog Trick and a Dog and Owner Lookalike competition, as well as a raffle to support Bradfield Bark’s charity partner Sydney Dogs & Cats Home.

Pet experts, including Dr Katrina Warren along with her Wonderdogs, will be giving free talks and tutorials on animal behaviour and training tips and techniques. You might also spot a few ‘pet influencers’ including Mr Biscuit the Pug – who has over 100,000 Instagram followers – as well as Nigella the Pug, and Simba the Samoyed.

Dogs must be kept on a leash, but there is a designated off-lead area where dogs can run around and play. Dogs will also be able to put their own skills to the test in the Give it a Go Agility Area.

To complement the fun activities, there will be plenty of stalls, live music from Michael Kopp Duo, Evergreen Music, Cavan Te Trio, and delicious food stalls, including a buy one, get one free pet-friendly ice cream offer from Gelatissimo.
