DESCRIPTION

Event Description

Calling 100 women to make 100 capes, Australia Wide.

The charity arts organisation The House That Dan Built is embarking on an ambitious large scale cross-generational engagement Cape Making Project.

Do you enjoy sewing? This project offers women the opportunity to connect with others and get involved in an exciting creative project from the safety of your own home.

The Cape Making Project will link generations of females, connecting them in story and a common goal.

Sign up and they will send each participant a physical care pack with all the materials (pre-cut) and instructions you need to make the cape. There will also be making tutorial videos and questions cards which form the basis of phone conversations that will be conducted by our creative team and young female ensemble members.  These stories and sound bites will be weaved into a 100 composition.
