Hi, I’m Stacey Rolfe. I’m a Sydney family photographer, newborn photographer, maternity photographer and pregnancy photographer. I work in the Eastern Suburbs, Sydney CBD, North Shore and Inner West.
I am mum to Holly and Charlie. I’m a Brit, from Kent in England, and met my Aussie husband on a backpacker tour in Ecuador in 2007. After six years in London, we moved to Sydney ‘for a year’ in 2014 (sorry, mum) and, well, can you blame me for falling in love with this city?
I spent 12 years in the corporate world as an employment lawyer in London and Sydney. I got into photography when I had Holly in 2017. A hobby slowly turned into a side hustle, and when 2020 threw us all a curveball I decided it was time to take the leap. I went full time as a photographer in January 2021 and haven’t looked back!
As someone who is much more comfortable behind the lens than in front of it, I totally understand the temptation to put it off. To wait for a special occasion, or to shed the baby weight, or to find the perfect outfit. But do you know what, none of that really matters. Life is short. You never know what’s around the corner. And I can promise you, you’ll never regret capturing your family as you are right now.
What a privilege it is to be invited to document your lives, and give your kids memories to look back on nostalgically some day. It really is the best job in the world.
