If you are worried about your teen and would like to investigate options for counselling, Anna Sheppard Counselling and Psychotherapy can help you.
Anna supports teenagers experiencing anxiety or distress as a result of school, friendship or family problems/changes. Counselling will help your teen find and grow their strengths and discover new enjoyment and engagement in life. With several years working in Sydney High Schools, as a program counsellor and youth mentor, Anna has seen first-hand the issues young people face today. She provides a safe, non-judgemental space where your teen can develop skills to help them deal with stress and difficult emotions, improve their relationships with friends or family, and develop confidence to live the life they want to.
Anna also offers counselling to young people and adults navigating major life changes or decisions, suffering from anxiety, stress, or burnout, or simply wishing to make positive changes to their lives.
Qualifications
Anna holds a Masters in Counselling and Applied Psychotherapy. In addition, Anna has trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness Training, Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and Trauma Informed Therapy.
She is a PACFA Certified Practising Counsellor, PACFA register number 28731. (PACFA is the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia.)

Face-to-face: Currently immediate availability on Thursdays and Fridays at Greenwich Square Health Hub.
Online: waitlist: Currently a short waitlist (approximately 3-4 weeks) for online appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays.
