My name is Karina and I am a qualified personal trainer and group fitness instructor.

After having a baby I realised that new Mums needed a safe, comfortable and supportive fitness environment that not only focused on the physical benefits but also the social and mental well-being that we can gain from group exercise. That’s how Karina’s Mumma Method came about. I want to help mums, just like me, regain physical confidence, interact with like minded women and feel the mental health benefits that exercise can bring.

You get to train, focusing on form for strength, posture and pre and post natal exercises. I help you set personal goals. While you train, your baby is right beside you, playing with other babies, always under your watchful eye. You don’t have to leave them in a creche or worry about them elsewhere. The benefits of being outdoors is also experienced during my sessions!

I run classes in North Sydney, Hornsby, Wahroonga and would be happy to operate anywhere along the North Shore if you and your mums group want to train together!

    Karina has been a wonderful trainer – so motivating, even when you don’t feel up for it, positive, able to spur you along and keeps it fun. I am really grateful for finding exercise with a supportive trainer that helped me get out with other mums and get fit again after having my daughter.     There sessions are a highlight of my week. Aside from being a great way to meet other mums in the area, it feels SO good to be able to workout on a regular basis. The sessions are always varied: you can scale up or down with the weights, she focuses on a total body workout, and each session is always different. Totally recommend!!

    Meeting Karina and the Mums through this group is the best thing that could have happened to me after my son was born. It was such an amazing support to be with other Mums adjusting to the whirlwind of parenthood and babies while also trying to look after ourselves and get back into fitness. It’s also been amazing going through my second pregnancy with other pregnant Mums in the group. Karina has been amazing at adjusting the exercises throughout my pregnancy and I know she’ll be the one to help me get back out there after my next baby arrives.

    Karina constantly motivates me to stay fit and healthy. She achieves the perfect balance between making me feel accountable yet being understanding of the challenges of being a mum. The combination of face to face and online training allows me to fit in training several times a week around working full time and two kids. The month long step and exercise challenges are also fun and engaging. Karina’s manner and enthusiasm make it a pleasure rather than a chore to work out.

    My favourite part of the week. I love spending time with the other mums (and the coffee after is a great incentive) and Karina offers a great workout, totally adaptable to your fitness level / stage and age etc. My little guy has a great time running around with the other kids so we both win out of our Monday mornings.

    Karina’s mums and bubs bootcamp is amazing. She tailors all workouts to your own recovery and fitness level after having bub and it is a great way to meet other mums as well.

    Karina is an amazing personal trainer who I have had the pleasure of training with for over 5 years. Karina was key to me gaining a passion for fitness and losing 16kgs prior to having babies. Following each pregnancy Karina has worked with me in a safe and sensible way to regain my fitness and shed the baby weight.
