The Handmade’s Yarn is a Podcast  about all things yarn related with a specific focus on crochet.

It is an information packed magazine style podcast for crochet enthusiasts to listen to – be entertained – and learn more while they are crocheting. It will be jam packed with guest pattern designer interviews, discount yarn and pattern offers, advance previews on forthcoming CAL releases, discussions on contemporary pattern trends, crochet tips and discussions and recommendations on new and different yarns.

We will chat with global yarn retailers, talk about different yarn trends, and interview local and international crochet icons from popular Facebook crochet communities, Ravelry and Etsy superstar crochet leaders and fandoms.

We will also regularly showcase local yarn shop owners in Sydney and overseas.

The aim of the podcast is to provide something perfect to listen to while you crochet – because let’s face it, you can’t really watch TV while you crochet.

As well as a Facebook Group page to support the podcast Fandom. There is also an associated website where crochet enthusiasts and podcast listeners can purchase the yarn packs and patterns that we refer to in episodes.

Samantha MacNally is always willing to suggestions on who to interview, and would love to showcase local designers, yarn makers or dyers and local yarn shop owners.
