DESCRIPTION
The Hamley Studio of Fine Art is based in Hornsby and runs classes for adult and teenage artists with any level of experience. Our teens class is an exciting new addition, giving younger students aged 14-18 the opportunity to get a grounding in real traditional art techniques that are generally not taught in high schools!
All of the teachers at Hamley Studio are classically trained artists, and all of our classes are focused on creating art from life (i.e. with life models or real still life objects, rather than from photos). We are passionate about helping people make genuine improvements in their art-making and pride ourselves on doing so in an environment that is warm and fun.
We have morning, arvo, evening and weekend classes available, and we are currently teaching on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. We also have an untutored social painting/drawing group on Thursdays, and during our term breaks often run intensive workshops. Class options include:
