Located on Sydney’s North Shore, Barker College is an Anglican day and boarding school. The School is currently transitioning to become fully coeducational by 2022. Girls may now enrol into Pre-K, Kindergarten and Year 3. In 2020, girls will commence in Year 7.
Barker’s broadly based curriculum is designed to offer significant choice of subjects and courses to meet a wide range of individual student interests and abilities.
In addition to the classroom experience, a broad co-curricular program provides many opportunities for the students to participate in a diverse range of activities and sports. From Debating, to Chess, to Robotics, Cadets, Music and Drama – there is something for every student.
Barker College is focused on the future. We want all our students to come together to make the world a fairer place and this commitment to justice and equity begins at school. Our students are at the heart of our work.
At Barker we aim to provide a framework for young people to experience the best that the future offers – more than that, to become people who shape this future rather than merely people who consume it.
