Pack a picnic, some mozzie spray and your best singing voice for a fun & festive evening. Happy carolling!

Come and share the wonderful warmth of singing Christmas carols together in the beautiful setting at Warrah. The Carols will take place in the grounds of the Warrah Special School.

Enjoy a picnic and carols at Willoughby Park

Bring your deck chairs and blankets and settle in for an evening of festive family fun at this year’s Carols in Willoughby Park! Now in its 12th year, the event is bigger and better than ever with an enhanced musical experience and the opportunity to help those in need with Lifeline’s Christmas Hamper drive.

The fun starts at 4pm with entertainment and activities to get you in the Christmas mood. Entertain the kids with fun activities, fairground rides on the oval and take your own photo with our special guest Santa. Indulge in an extensive range of international food then sit back, relax and enjoy pre-carols entertainment from the Ukulele All Stars and Spanish guitarist Joseph Zarb.

As the sun sets, get your voices ready for a spectacular carolling sing-along extravaganza from 7pm. The Northern Voices choir and band, Dance Republic, Willoughby Band and Willoughby Symphony Choir will get you into the Christmas spirit with traditional carols like Deck the Halls, Away in a Manger and Silent Night and funky favourites including Jingle Bell Rock, Rocking Around the Christmas Tree and Santa Claus is coming to Town.

This year you can make Christmas special by contributing to a Christmas hamper for a family in need. Bring your non-perishable food items to Lifeline’s collection point at the carols. You’ll also be contributing to the Salvation Army by purchasing a carols booklet.

Sunday 8 December

San Carols by Candlelight, Wahroonga

San Carols by Candelight

Come and join in the annual celebration at the San Carols by Candlelight. There’ll be free activities including face painting, craft projects and a petting farm. The kids concert will start at 7pm and will be entertained by The Grinch.

The main carols program will feature Australian performer Silvie Paladino and Michael Cormick. They will be joined by Sydney Gospel group Endless Praise and singer Jana Aveling, the local Wahroonga Adventist School Choir, and long term Carols favourites Dave Martin and the Carols Band.

Carols at Asquith Oval

Carols at Asquith Oval is an annual event that celebrates Christmas with the singing of carols, a nativity presentation, and performances by local talent. There will be bbq’s, jumping castles, dancing groups and community group events, which will commence at 6.30 pm prior to the commencement of the carols at 7.30 pm. The evening will conclude at 9 pm with a fireworks display.

This year will be the tenth year that Asquith Church of Christ together with St John’s Anglican Church and Australian Ling Liang Church have put together the event.

A evening of fun and festivity to celebrate Christmas as a community at Carols in the Park, Epping. The night will end with a fireworks display at 9pm. Free entry, market stalls from 5pm and the carols at 7.15pm. Food is available to purchase on the night

St Mary’s Cathedral will celebrate this special time of year with carols and Christmas joy for the annual, and much anticipated ‘A Choral Christmas Celebration’ concert.

Saturday 14 December

Carols in the Park, West Pymble

Led by M.C. Stephen O’Doherty, Carols in the Park will include children’s section by the children’s entertainer Sean W Smith and performances by Challis Singers, barbershop quartet The Amazing Greys soloist David Watson together with traditional and modern Christmas carols led by a combined churches choir and accompanied by the Golden Kangaroos concert band. There will also be a collection for the drought relief program co-ordinated by the Salvation Army.

Kids will also be entertained with a playground, face painters and farm animals!

Bring a picnic rug and spend an evening under the stars at Balmoral singing to your favourite Christmas Carols.

There’s a free shuttle bus via Spit Junction, Military Road and Raglan Street from 5.30pm. Carols start at 7.45pm.

Carols on Clanville

Enjoy an evening of carols by Candlelight at Carols on Clanville. Kids can come dressed to join in the nativity plays plus there’s a kiddy farm, camel rides and face painting. Carols will begin at 7.45pm.

Bring your family and friends for a fun evening with great performances and free Christmas treats with Grace City Church.  This event is free and open to the public.

The annual Carols on the Common will include live entertainment, rides, face painting as well as Carols and a fireworks display.  Don’t forget to bring a picnic blanket and some nibbles! Food will also be sold by a range of food vendors on the night.

Carols Under the Star, Berowra Heights

Carols Under the Star 2019 will be held on Thursday 19 December at Warrina St Oval, Berowra. The back up date is 22 December at St Marks Anglican Church, Berowra. This year they will be again raising funds again this year for Compassion. Pre-show entertainment from 5.30pm with carols starting at 7.30pm.  BYO picnic rug. Everyone welcome!

Sydney’s largest Christmas tree will delight audiences and brighten up Martin Place from 23 November to 1 January. Enjoy a kaleidoscope of colours and decorative lights every 15 minutes from 7pm to midnight.

Come along and get into the festive spirit and enjoy choirs singing carols under the branches of the Martin Place Christmas tree every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6pm to 8.30pm.
