Cate Blanchett’s selling her home – an uber-private, super luxe Berowra Waters home that’s now up for sale. Take a tour of the three-level property, worth around $1.75 million.
Our homegrown superstar and North Shore neighbour Cate Blanchett is selling her home, listing their Berowra Waters property.
And they’ll be expecting to pocket a profit.
After buying in 2014 for $1.495million, they’re expecting up to $1.75million for the sale.
The waterfront home is situated on the edge of the Berowra Valley National Park, and is only accessible via water.
“It has become obsolete and they have reached a stage in their life where they decided to pass it onto new hands,’’ Mr Nicholson said.
“It has very much been their own house, they may have let it out to friends and family, but it hasn’t been rented out.”
It has been extensively renovated with glass framed hardwood balconies, a stylish kitchen and timber flooring. A portrait of the actor and one of her sons hangs in the lounge room.
The lower ground floor is fully self-contained with its own living area, kitchen, servery window and sauna.
