Top of that priority list heading into warmer weather? Swimming lessons. Carlile Swimming is open and ready to take on new bookings.

Book your lessons with Carlile today!

As the weather warms up our minds jump to BBQs by the pool, picnics at the beach and splashing around at water parks. There is one common feature in all these activities and it’s something we need to be so careful around with kids – the water. Sure, it’s lots of fun, and some of our fondest Summer memories are formed around it, but we need to think about the safety of our little ones. This is why swimming lessons are so important.

Spring is the perfect time to get started. Dip those little toes in the water once again and let them build up a safe and confident relationship with the water before Summer hits.

Water Babies (3 months to 2.5 years)

These classes are a great introduction to swimming with specially adapted games, songs and routines to build water confidence. The classes are lots of fun, while also teaching children to be safer in, on, under and around water.

Learn to Swim (2.5 years and over)

This leading program is offered in two age groups: there’s the preschool program for children over the age of 2.5, and the school-age program for the older kids. Both programs help kids grow in confidence in the water and develop their stroke techniques.

Stroke Development

Their Stroke Development program has three, ability-based levels and is designed to develop correct swimming technique and endurance. It teaches kids backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and freestyle.

Squads

Squads cater to both recreational and competitive swimmers. The emphasis in Squads is on increasing endurance, perfecting technique and mastering competitive starts and turns.
