Competitions are an effective mechanic of creating excitement and buzz around your product, as well as increasing overall awareness with North Shore Mums through strong exposure across the NSM platform.
Competitions run in the Offers section and are live on the website for one week. On the day the competition is launched, the competition is featured in the prime position on the NSM homepage. In addition, each competition is promoted with a post on the NSM Facebook Group (30,000+ members), a post on the NSM Facebook Page (18,000+ fans) and one spot in the weekly e-newsletter (sent every Thursday night to 8,500+ subscribers).
We require a minimum prize value of $200, and there is a $250+gst management fee to cover design of the page, social media & EDM posts and winner selection.
To increase entry rates and make it as simple as possible for readers to enter, we run all competitions via a Game of Chance (rather than Game of Skill). We get a much higher response, as entrants aren’t put off by the hurdle of having to think of a 25 words or less answer (or similar). We have a Trade Promotion Lottery Permit with the Office of Liquor, Gaming & Racing to run promotions in this way. Individual prize values cannot exceed $250 under this permit.
At the end of the promotional period, North Shore Mums will select the winners. We will email you with the relevant winner details for you to despatch the prizes directly. North Shore Mums is not responsible for postage.
