New spot to shop! Westfield Warringah Mall is open

It’s Christmas time, and that means the shops are packed with people! Luckily for last-minute shoppers, Westfield Warringah Mall has recently opened, and NSM Fashion Stylist Shannon Johnson went to check out exactly what’s on offer at the 70 new stores.

giftAfter walking past the construction site for what felt like forever, it was exciting to hear that the new Westfield Warringah Mall was finally open. And with over 70 new shops to browse through and a massive $310 million facelift to check out, I was eager to get there and see the new-look centre for myself.

Luckily, I was invited me to attend the special VIP Myer night on behalf of North Shore Mums, where 3500 Myer One cardholders would celebrate with other VIPS at the grand opening. And the guests seemed in the mood to celebrate!

sepInside, the centre has been completely gutted and revamped into a modern, edgy shopping destination. My first stop was of course Myer, which has been transformed into what feels like a range of mini-stores within the store. There are loads of brands to choose from, with over 60 labels including the UK brands John Lewis, Topshop and US brand Free People. Besides the obvious shopping opportunities, there’s also a café on level one, a giftorium filled many inspiring gifts and even a barber if you (or a man in your life) want to stop in for a quick trim or shave while the other one shops! For me, Myer is a great destination because as a stylist, I can take clients there and have access to many stylish stores all in the one place.

When you’ve shopped until you’ve dropped, the best place for a break and a quick recharge is the food court, located near Woolworths, with endless dining options from a quick juice or a more substantial meal.

My picks for top 5 stores to visit:

  • topshopH&M
  • Marcs
  • Sephora
  • Decuba
  • Sheike

Activities and events for families and kids:

The centre also offers a range of activities like jumping castles, art exhibitions, celebrity appearances, face painting, live music and more.

Services

  • myerValet parking
  • Parent’s room
  • Kid’s playworld
  • Free Wi-Fi
  • Food Ordering App
