There’s fetes, there’s fairs, and then there’s festivals…the ultimate in family fun! And this year the Kidtopia Festival is taking family entertainment to the next level with their festival extravaganza at Parramatta Park. Here’s a taste of all the adventures you can expect from a day at the festival!
Heading to a family festival can be the perfect day out, and if you choose an event that has something for every member of the family, from your littlest bub to grown ups and grandma, you can enjoy a whole day of activities that please everybody. Finding the perfect festival isn’t as easy as it seems, but some are sure bets for an amazing day – such as Kidtopia Festival at Parramatta Park, which is back for a second year.
Festival Director Cory Watson says this year’s event will be bigger and better than the last, with a program that’s full of excitement for all the whole family. “We’re going all out with this year’s Festival. More amusement rides, an extra stage in La Petite Grande for incredible live performances and bigger and better world-class entertainment and interactive experiences.”
At Kidtopia you’ll find the hair-raising rides you love at a funfair, face painting and delicious market stalls, but you’ll also find amazing attractions you can’t find anywhere else.
For the music-loving child, grown ups, or just for a good start-of-summer vibe you can stop by the entertainment sector for live bands, circus performances, comedy and tricks, plus a live reptile show and champion magicians!
The Kidtopia Sound Stage features:
This year’s event will also feature the addition of an all-new performance area, with La Petite Grand presenting the world’s best circus, daredevil and comedy acts with a rotating daily program inside a purpose-built big top stage.
For younger kids, the interactive art space Craftworks returns, where kids can make robot masks, masquerade masks and more creative projects. Kidtopia’s dedicated space for under 5’s, Littletopia, returns with and live animals, nightly films, games and amusements. At Littletopia kids can try climb and slide in the Tumbletown play pen, have fun in the Tiny Tots play area or get creative with Paint & Play. After all of that, they can relax on Chibebe beanbags.
Master classes return with a program including workshops in:
