Bumble Bees Early Learning Centre was established in 2011 by a family who wanted to see a change in the care that was being provided to children. Bumble Bees prides itself on providing natural, home-like environments for children to engage with and explore throughout the day. Natural aspects such as wooden resources, grass in the outdoor area with an edible garden, chickens for sustainability and a higher staff to child ratio creates an environment that supports both individual and group learning throughout the day and provides more opportunities for educators to build relationships with the children in care.
Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) principles, practices and outcomes of ‘Being, Belonging and Becoming’, National Regulations and the National Quality Framework (NQF) we understand that children learn through play which is why we have developed an environment that is reflective of the home environment which invites children to learn and engage with our resources inspiring and challenging them. We also ensure that the individual needs of the families and staff are met to create a warm, friendly environment in which to drop your children off for the day. Our childcare centre is small and operates with higher staff to children ratio to facilitate individual and group learning experiences which provide the foundation for our preschool program which aids in preparing children for primary school.
We are passionate about Early Childhood Education and provide you with updates on your child’s involvement with the program, weekly, on our online programming platform. Each parent is issued with their own username and password to view their child’s learning progress and observations at your leisure online.
Our fees include breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack. It also includes nappies and a drink bottle which is filled regularly to provide your child with fresh water throughout the day.
