If you’re looking for a place to enjoy the Christmas Carols this festive season – keep reading. We’ve put together a list of all the carol services happening, so you can find the one nearest to you. So pack a picnic and your best singing voice, and happy carolling!
Pack your picnic blanket and enjoy family-friendly entertainment, kids’ activities and rides throughout the afternoon, before an evening of carols, featuring Willoughby Band, Willoughby Symphony Choir and a special guest, Santa.
Bring a picnic and enjoy Carols @ Northrbidge, a joint venture of the Combined Churches of Northbridge. Carols will begin from 6.45pm. The Northbridge Carols Band will accompany the community carol singing, with performances from Northside Baptist Preschool, St Mark’s Anglican Preschool and Shore School.
An evening of free entertainment beginning at 5pm with children’s activities and farm animals plus a sausage sizzle! Carol singing begins from 7pm
It is one of Sydney’s fastest growing Christmas events, so pack your rug and picnic basket, bring your family and friends and join the local community for Carols under the Bridge. Face painting, craft and games will keep the little ones entertained while this year, a special live nativity scene including camels, sheep and a donkey will wow the crowd and bring the Christmas story to life for kids of all ages.
Led by M.C. Stephen O’Doherty and includes performances by Andrew Chinn and a combined children’s choir, The Australian Waratah Girls Choir, soloist Elisa Colla together with traditional and modern Christmas carols led by a combined churches choir and accompanied by the Golden Kangaroos concert band.
Join the Willoughby Symphony and Choir for the magical and enchanting concert featuring the sensational Trisha Crowe in a family Christmas concert and sing along to your favourite carols.
This year children will be entertained by a fabulous day of activities including a petting zoo, face painting and balloon artists, as well as the Nick Jr’s. PAW Patrol Ready for Action Show will be performing in the special Kids Concert. The kids will also have an opportunity to meet and greet Chase and Marshall.
The main program will feature Luke Kennedy, Stefanie Jones as well as local artists Danni Da Ross, Tabetha Salmon and Ardentsound who will be joined by Carols favourites the Wahroonga Adventist School Choir and Dave Martin & The Carols Band.
Come and celebrate the festive season with Santa, Mrs Claus and their cast of Christmas characters. Watch the stunning new show Clara’s Tale of the Nutcracker and listen to performances from Iron & Clay, the Christmas Wishes Cast and local community groups before sitting back to watch the grand finale fire works – that will be sure to get you in the festive spirit!

Another huge event is Carols in the Domain on Sunday 17 December. This show will feature performances from Justice Crew, Big T, Penny McNamee, Samantha Jade, Todd McKenny, Dami Im and Adam Harbey and Beccy Cole. Carols will begin at 7.45pm
Bring your blanket or chair and your family and friends and join a great night of family fun. From 3:30 you will be able to try out the brand new exciting 2 level High Ropes Course, or play a round of Laser Tag Challenge on the newly upgraded field. Food and drink will be available on site from 5:30pm, and the Twilight Carols will run from 7pm and will include a visit from santa!
Come along to sing all your favourite Christmas Carols. There’ll be free face painting, a visit from Santa, Christmas carols, food stalls and a fireworks finale.
Bring the whole family to Mona Vale Village Park for an evening of Christmas entertainment under the stars. There will be great local musicians and singers with all the traditional carols.
Also there will be food and refreshments available and free lollies for the kids, and a special visit from Santa Claus.

The 25th annual Carols on the Common will include live entertainment, rides, face painting as well as Carols kicking off from 8pm and a fireworks display on 9.15pm. Don’t forget to bring a picnic blanket and some nibbles! Food will also be sold by a range of food vendors on the night.
